One of the most-loved features of Blue Tees products is the built-in magnetic mount. On rare occasions, a bump or rough terrain can cause a speaker to fall from the cart — here's exactly what coverage applies and what your options are.
Standard 2-year manufacturer warranty
The standard warranty covers manufacturing and operational defects. A fall from a golf cart — regardless of the cause — is considered accidental damage and is not covered under the standard manufacturer warranty. This includes cases where the magnet releases due to a bump or rough cart path.
If you believe your magnetic mount had a genuine defect (for example, the magnet was significantly weaker than expected right out of the box, separate from any fall), contact us at [email protected] with photos and a description and we'll review it.
Extend Protection Plan
If you purchased the Extend Protection Plan, cart drops and the resulting screen cracks or damage are covered under accidental damage. Extend covers:
- Accidental damage from drops and impacts
- Cracked screens
- Electrical failures

Don't have Extend coverage?
If you don't have an Extend plan and your speaker fell and cracked, the standard warranty won't cover the repair or replacement. However, contact us at [email protected] with photos of the damage — in some cases we can offer a discount on a replacement unit.
Preventing future falls
- Ensure the magnetic strip is flat, fully aligned, and free of debris before attaching to the cart pole
- The magnetic strip is designed specifically for the vertical pole of a golf cart — avoid horizontal or angled surfaces where the hold is weaker
- Take extra care on rough terrain, speed bumps, and uneven cart paths
- Consider the Extend Protection Plan for future peace of mind — it covers accidental drops and damage from the moment it's activated
