Why doesn’t my Rainmaker remote work when connected to the Launch App?Updated 2 months ago
If your Rainmaker remote stops controlling the device after connecting to the Launch App, don’t worry — this is expected behavior.
When Rainmaker is being used as a standalone launch monitor, the remote can be used to navigate menus, change session types, select clubs, adjust settings, and control various device functions.
Once Rainmaker is connected to the Launch App, the app becomes the primary controller for the device. Many of the functions that would normally be handled by the remote are transferred to the Launch App instead.
This means:
- The remote is not disconnected or malfunctioning
- Rainmaker is operating normally
- Controls are now managed through the Launch App
If you disconnect Rainmaker from the Launch App and return to standalone mode, the remote will resume its normal functionality.
