Why does the screen on the Player+ GPS Speaker go dark or not turn on?Updated 8 months ago

When powering the speaker on, hold the power button down for a full five seconds to allow both the audio and visual portions of the Player+ GPS Speaker to start up. 

The speaker also has a low-power mode setting that causes the brightness to dim automatically. Confirm that the speaker is not in this setting, which would cause the brightness to dim automatically until the screen is tapped.

If this doesn't work, try hard resetting the device and going through the steps above again. You can do this by opening the charging port rubber boot and locating the small reset button underneath the USB-A input and USB-C output. Insert a small paperclip into this area and push it into the device for five (5) seconds.
