If your speaker is playing music but no yardages, hole number, or golf information is appearing on the screen, the most common cause is that the speaker is connected for audio only — not for GPS.

Why this happens

The most common cause depends on which speaker you have:

Player Pro

Player Pro uses two separate Bluetooth connections:

• Audio connection — connects via your phone's system Bluetooth settings. Handles music and calls.
• GPS/GAME App connection — connects inside the Blue Tees Game App. Handles yardages, hole info, scoring, and golf features.

If only the audio connection is active, music will work but no golf data will appear on the screen. Both connections must be active. See Why Does Player Pro Have Two Bluetooth Connections?

Player+ and other speakers

Player+ and other Blue Tees speakers use a single Bluetooth connection through the GAME App. If yardages aren't showing, the speaker may not be connected inside the app, or a round may not be active.

How to fix it

1. Open the Blue Tees Game App and log in.
2. Tap Devices and check whether your speaker appears as connected. If it shows as disconnected, tap Connect.
3. Start a round. GPS yardages only display during an active round. Select your course and tap Start Round.
4. Check that Location Services are enabled. The app needs location access to calculate yardages. On iPhone, go to Settings → Blue Tees Game → Location → Always. On Android, enable location permission for the app and turn off battery optimization.
5. Make sure Background App Refresh is on (iPhone: Settings → Blue Tees Game → Background App Refresh → On). Without this, GPS stops updating when your phone screen locks.

Still not showing yardages?

Force-quit and reopen the GAME App, reconnect your device under Devices, and restart the round. If the issue continues, contact us at [email protected] with your speaker model and phone model.
